Current Issue === My Own Writing of CHILD ABDUCTION

Nowadays many crimes had happened in our country. The crime that is very popular now is child abduction. There are many child has been missing for many years. It is dangerous crime, some of the victim been killed or been sold to another country. Where is the responsibility of the parents?

There are many factors why children been kidnap. The first factor is because of their careless parents. Parents should take care of their children well, so that the crime will not happen so easily. For example when parents bring their kids for a shopping, please don’t to slack and excited for shopping till the kids missing from your care.

Second factor is parents easily let their child go anywhere without adult with them. Parents should look for their children and always advice the children not to talk or follow any stranger. If anything happened, thought them to scream loudly, so that other people will help.

Another factor is because people who do this crime are taking an easy way to get money. They don’t have effort to work or find a job. They want the money fast and don’t think of the children they kidnap. These people are very rude and cruel.

In conclusion parents should take the best care of the children, so the crime will not happened again and the people who do this crime will not have any chance to do this child abduction crime.

Non-Verbal Communication SKILL... what is it??

Nonverbal communication can be best defined as the procedure of communicating with a person or party without using any form of speech to grab an audience attention or to exploit a message. Non verbal communication is often used to make an expression of a thought or thoughts and make your message more appealing and interesting to whom you are speaking.

G. W. Porter divides non-verbal communication into four broad categories:

Physical. This is the personal type of communication. It includes facial expressions, tone of voice, sense of touch, sense of smell, and body motions.

Aesthetic. This is the type of communication that takes place through creative expressions: playing instrumental music, dancing, painting and sculpturing.

Signs. This is the mechanical type of communication, which includes the use of signal flags, the 21-gun salute, horns, and sirens.

Symbolic. This is the type of communication that makes use of religious, status, or ego-building symbols.

Our concern here will be with what Porter has called the physical method of non-verbal communication.

As an extension to the need to maintain harmonious relations, Malaysians rely on non-verbal communication ( facial expressions, tone of voice, body language). Such a communication style tends to be subtle, indirect end. Malays may hint at a point rather than making a direct statement, since that might cause the other person to lose face. Rather than say "no", they might say, "I will try", or "I’ll see what I can do". This allows the person making the request and the person turning it down to save face and maintain harmony in their relationship.
If i are unsure about the affirmative response that i received, i'll or may want to continue the discussion, re-phrasing the question in several different ways so that i may compare responses. If the response was given because the Malaysian did not know how to respond in the negative without causing offense, this may come out. Alternatively, they may have someone else give me the bad news.
Silence is an important element of Malaysian communication. Pausing before responding to a question indicates that they have given the question appropriate thought and considered their response carefully. Many Malaysians do not understand the Western propensity to respond to a question hastily and can consider such behaviour thoughtless and rude.
Malaysians may laugh at what may appear to outsiders as inappropriate moments. This device is used to conceal uneasiness.
Do not show anger in public as it makes Malaysians uncomfortable and creates a feeling of powerlessness. There is a greater chance of achieving a good outcome id you are calm, whereas little is resolved by shouting.

WHAT DID I THINK ABOUT BLOGGING BEFORE THIS CLASS & WHAT DO I THINK OF IT NOW?

Before i enter your class i think blog normally just for business,e-commerce and for personal thinking or any else but after i attend your class and learn from your lecture, i think my impresion changed.I think blog not just for public review but it universal using for good of mankind.

WHAT HAVE I LEARNED ABOUT BEING A BLOGGER?

Here is a hypothesis. By blogging, we reveal a lot more about ourselves than those who don't blog, and, thus, make ourselves vulnerable to judgments of all kinds (not the stereotypical judgment-judgment, as in "criticism").
In a way, we are like "fools" exposing our weaknesses, shortcomings, foibles, vulnerabilities; we blog about mundane stuff, too - and that may seem trite at times; it's like eavesdropping on someone's conversation in a restaurant and thinking, "geez, why do those people talk about that stuff, they should get a grip it's because we don't know the context of those other people's lives. For those who "eavesdrop," it's probably removed, it's about "the other" in me, the blogger persona, if you will - somewhat unreal, I suppose...even though I am as authentic here as anywhere, still the text is *chosen*, and there is no full context for anything.

There may also be an assumption on the part of some readers that our public "persona" is all there is to us...and that may be not all that exciting. They don't know what we are like in an intimate setting, and I wish they weren't afraid to find that out!

I wish people would confirm or refute what I am saying here, or add something completely unexpected!
